Major step towards globalization with full scale SAP ERP system

Elif has kicked off with a giant transition project that will replace its existing ERP system with a full-scale SAP ERP system. Integrating all the activities under a single corporate resource management platform in order to manage its sustainable and qualified growth in the most efficient way, this project is an important milestone in Elif’s mission of globalisation.

In the design and development phase of the SAP ERP system, Elif not only aims to ensure perfect process flow for performance, reliability, quality and consistency for its wide product portfolio considering different customer expectations but it also aims to provide the same unique product and service quality for its diverse range of customers in different parts of the world from its production facilities located in different geographies.

Elif will be one of the first flexible packaging companies in the sector realising a full-scale SAP ERP system project by integrating all modules of SAP program with its systems in one single project. Project will be conducted in consultation of Anadolu Bilişim Services (ABH) in 2 phases and targets translating Elif’s flexible structure and dynamic process management into a globally standardised language for all of its customers by integrating all business processes and systems under the sole umbrella of SAP.

Elif SAP Project, which covers APO (Advanced Planning and Optimisation), FI (Financial Accounting), CO (Cost Accounting and Controlling), MM (Material Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), PP (Production Planning), WM (Warehouse Management), PM (Plant Maintenance), QM (Quality Management) modules and Payroll, Personnel Administration and Time Management subcomponents of HR (Human Resources) module of SAP, will carry Elif’s complex products, detailed processes and localised global service quality a giant step forward. The first phase of the project has kicked off in January 2012 and is planned to go live on 01.01.2013. The second phase of the project, covering CS (Customer Service) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) modules and Employee Performance Management, Career Management, Training and Event Management subcomponents of HR module, is planned to be completed in 2014.
