Elif supported the 'Earth Hour' movement in the fight against climate change by turning off the lights at 20:30 on the last Saturday of March this year as it was in the past years.

Elif, one of the pioneers in Turkey, realized by turning off the lights for an hour was aimed at raising awareness in the issues such as climate changes, water resources depletion, loss of biological diversity which comes up against the world.

Elif, who was awarded ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Certificate in 2007, also invites all individuals and institutions to contribute to a sustainable future as the first packaging company that is entitled to receive the Environmental Permit in the process of harmonization with the EU.
