Elif is proud to announce that it has been awarded with the BRC/IOP Global Technical Standard Grade A for Packaging and Packaging Materials certification demonstrating its continuous investments in comprehensive quality and hygiene management.
The BRC Standard forms part of a suite of product safety standards that cover Consumer Products, Packaging & Packaging Materials, and Storage & Distribution enabling certification of the supply chain. Originally created to establish a standard for the suppliers of packaging and packaging materials for the food industry, this standard is now a leading global standard adopted by major retailers, manufacturers and packaging businesses around the world and is equally applicable to producers of consumer products packagings.
Certification of the Standard verifies technical performance, aids manufacturers’ fulfilment of legal obligations and helps provide protection to the consumers by enabling the inspection of organisations that supply retailers with packaging for food items.
This certification, awarded by an independent and approved organisation, is a proof of Elif’s consistent and continuous quality and safety policies. The audit was performed by SGS (Société Générale de Surveillance), which is recognised as the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company with its quality and integrity.
BRC/IoP accreditation, which is a hallmark quality for best practices in retail supply chain, is a demonstration of Elif’s product safety and quality as well as validating its Corporate Values and Personality.
