Constantly emphasising the importance of the equality of women and men and the difference made by the touches of women in every field of life, Elif has actualised one more project to include the power of housewives in the national economy.
Elif acts with passion and aims to do the best for “humanity” in every corporate decision made and step taken, and in line with this mission, the company believes that women must have more power in the economic and social arenas, assume a more active role in their careers and participate in every respect of life. Thus, Elif uses every opportunity to create new projects that would remove or minimise the barriers on this path.
Accordingly, Elif has offered job opportunities to housewives in tying operations of hundreds of thousands of bags produced by the company in 2015 and 2016, which, in turn, has created a total of 235 working days of employment for women.
Being conscious about the fact that increased participation of women in the economy, a bigger share of the economic development and growth for women and improvement of women’s position within the family are required to achieve higher levels of economic development, Elif continues to launch social responsibility projects aimed at promulgating these issues within the community. For this purpose, Elif presents gifts to more than 1300 company employees on every 8th of March, International Women’s Day, including messages about the importance of “equal representation and rights for women in the political, social and professional arenas”, with the aim of increasing the level of awareness on the issue.
Elif acts in line with the “Packaging for Life” ambition in every corporate decision made and step taken, and believes that women must have more power in the economic and social arenas, assume a more active role in their careers and participate in every aspect of life. Elif calls everyone for duty to remove the barriers on this path and set forth the power of equality and diversity - free of any sexual, religious, and ethnical discrimination. Elif will pursue the planning and development of its activities accordingly and determinedly create new projects to add value in life.
